Short-Term Running Goals:

This year I am looking to race a bit more and hope to improve. I have started to train a bit differently using a more well rounded program. Including tempo and speed work (which up to this point I have slacked off on) Would like to be somewhere near the top of my A.G. it makes racing more fun. Also helping motivate people to become more active and enjoy getting out and enjoying all life has to offer.

Long-Term Running Goals:

have not really set long term goals just love the great benefits physically as well as mentally that have come with running and look to continue to grow and improve

Personal:

Married to an amazing woman who I get to enjoy living and loving life for all its worth. From our urban farm to exploring the backcountry. I have 2 boys who are about grown. My passion for running has not diminished over the years just evolved into an integral part of life like it always has been but a little different. Lucky for me Tiff puts up with my running obsession and doesn't complain too much.

got out early tonight to try and beat the rain started out a bit sluggish at first plus getting a few sprinkles here and there by the time i hit 104th and 27th west it was a little more than the occasional drop here and there but i was loosening up nicely geeting into the groove once i got almost to 114th south the rain had almost stopped but it was still windy not my fav lol keeping the feet churning back around to 126th and redwood north on the last leg feeling the mileage in the legs but still upbeat finished with a warm down and stretches good times

Nice mileage this week. I have a question for you. Your daily mileage always ends in a decimal. Do you go out for a run and them sit down at the computer and map it to get the distance?

As for my planned races, Desnews for sure, most likely the 10k. I'm toying with runing the marathon instead. I'd like to find something in June, I guess I should start looking.

Ya I usually map it out next morning guess

I could leave the parts off just force of habit I was looking in June something short since I have ragnar relay in the middle you should fair well if you decide on the marathon I was thinking the 10k in July being as I am running the Bryce half the full would be a stretch
